A lot to follow through.
Some have asked - as of late -
How do I do it all.
I brush them off.
I can not tell.
The secret I must hide.
But now its time -
To let it out.
In you I will confide.
On the day that I was born
But oh! so long ago.
My parents, they had cause to mourn
When they heard the news.
Not one but two wee little ones
To feed and dress and love.
Having only thought that one would come
They didn't know what to do.
Gave both of us the same sweet name.
Smart ones - dad and mum!
But one of us was not so straight -
In fact she was a beast!
A good twin and an evil one -
The task was far too great.
So they choose to take one lass
And give the other up.
To a home that could relate
To mischief and some sass.
I went through life oblivious -
Not knowing of my twin.
And then one day my sister came.
She caught me by surprise!
From that day on I knew my life -
Would never be the same.
Don't laugh or tease
I have the proof.
To put your mind at ease.

I
For quite a while, she's lived with me.
Though I hide her well.
Her PJs are her favorite clothes.
She likes to growl and yell.
No make up on her frightful face -
She is the ogre's belle.
Though wicked she may be
She is a help to me.
Happy B-Day to my twin!
I love that sneaky grin ;)
